Welcome!

Elizabeth "Lizzy" Soglin holds a BFA in Theatre Design and Technical Production with a focus on props from Western Michigan University. She is also a proud alum of the Professional Apprentice Program at The Juilliard School, where she trained as a Props Artisan.

Lizzy highly values the collaborative nature of props, enjoying the opportunity to work with designers, technicians, directors, stage managers, and performers to support the vision of the story being told. She loves finding or creating the perfect prop that can transform the very world of the production, and she appreciates that no two days in props are ever the same.

Since her professional debut in 2018, Lizzy has worked on plays, musicals, and opera in Michigan, Indiana, New Jersey, New York, and has also created theme park decor in Virginia. Shortly after completing her BFA, she was a member of the props team for the Off-Broadway premiere of Little Girl Blue at New World Stages. 

Following the completion of her training at The Juilliard School, Lizzy ran away with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey's Circus, touring the country with the reimagined and historic 147th Edition of the Greatest Show on Earth. She is now the Assistant Head of Props for Cirque du Soleil: ECHO. When she is not on the road, Lizzy is a New York City-based freelance Props Designer and Artisan.
